Standing Strong Project is a Christian organization, dedicated to help Christians break free from sexual addiction and rebuild marriages on a foundation of truth and emotional safety.
Standing Strong Project is the international platform founded by Anita Kragelund Thimm to help Christians find freedom from pornography and rebuild marriages after sexual betrayal.
Anita is a theologian, PSAP, PMAP, and BTRL, and she also founded Klippefast, the Danish counterpart to Standing Strong Project.

What SSP is Here For
I created Standing Strong Project to be a place where:
Men and women struggling with pornography and sexual addiction can find faith-based, psychologically sound tools for breaking the cycle and develop healthy sexuality. You can find help to break free from pornography here.
Couples who want to rebuild trust and intimacy can find the tools and support to begin again, stronger than before. Christian husbands can find rebuilding tools here.
Christians can find help compatible with their Christian faith and biblical views on marriage and sexuality.
Some will come here in crisis. Others in quiet hurt. All are welcome. Whatever brought you here, know this: change is possible. The deep desire of Standing Strong Project is to bring you the tools that will make it last.

I create resources that don’t just deliver information but invite transformation. Resources that stir reflection. Build emotional resilience. Deepen spiritual connection. Resources that keep you moving forward even when it’s hard.

Meet the Founder
My name is Anita, and I’m the founder of Standing Strong Project.
I’m a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction & Multiple Addiction Professional (PSAP, PMAP), a Betrayal Trauma Religious Leader (BTRL) and theologian, but more than that, I’m someone who has walked with Christian men, women, and couples through some of the hardest, most painful seasons of their lives.
I created this project because I saw a deep need for tools that are biblically compatible, emotionally honest, trauma-informed, and that integrate spiritual practices alongside the best of recovery science.
I believe that no one is too broken to be rebuilt. I believe that no one is out of reach for God’s mercy. I believe that a life of strength and integrity is possible for anyone who is willing to do the recovery work. The same goes for marriages affected by sexual addiction.
